Edi Irwan Mahmud, Consul-General of Malaysia and AMBC WA Patron

Mr. Edi Irwan Mahmud has served as a Malaysian diplomat for more than 18 years. He was the Charge d’Affaires ad interim to Fiji (2013-2015), the First Secretary to Vietnam (2009-2010) and the Second Secretary / Charge d’Affaires ad interim to Yemen (2004-2009). He was a Deputy Director General for Policy Planning and Coordination, Ministry of Foreign Affairs  before being appointed as the Consul General of Malaysia, Perth, Western Australia on 6 April 2018 and assumed his duties in Perth, Western Australia on 1 July 2018. 

Keith Anthonisz, President

Keith Anthonisz is Principal Consultant in Future Systems with a focus on strategic advice on economic development opportunities, regional development, technology and infrastructure projects. Keith is also working as Manager, Incentives and Innovation for Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) in Melbourne and is a Director for Malaysia Australia Connect, a business specialising in international business development between Malaysia and Australia and the broader Asian region. 

Keith Yong, Vice President

Keith Yong is a lawyer in Perth, President of the Hakka Association of WA and Vice President of the Australia Hakka Business Council. He is active in promoting local and foreign ventures and investments, and encouraging domestic and international tourism, to make the city a more dynamic, vibrant, connected and sustainable place to live in; fostering better relationship with global affiliations and promoting cultural exchanges; being environmentally sound, creating more jobs opportunities, and encouraging trade and business.  

Daisy Sinclair, Secretary

 Daisy is a Founder and Project Lead at Cyber8Lab Pty Ltd. She has more than twelve years' experience in International Cooperation, Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT Training, Project and Business Development. She is a Certified Cyber Defender Associate (CCDA, Malaysia) and hold a Certification in Information Security from InfosecSkills, UK.

Alan Loke, Treasurer

Alan is a Senior Finance Consultant at Your Finance Group and has eleven years’ experience in Mortgage Broking. He managed diverse range of clients - First Home Buyers, Owner Occupiers, Investors, High End Clients, Debt Consolidators and credit impaired. He also currently now train and coach junior brokers in the company. He is a certified broker with ASIC and hold a Bachelor Degree in Finance from Curtin University.

Dr. Megan Le Clus is a Manager External Engagement, Faculty of Business and Law, Curtin University. Megan plays a key role in the implementation of engagement and impact. She supports the growth of regional, national and international engagement by identifying and developing strategic and sustainable relationships with external organisations.

AMBC WA awareness of trade and investment opportunities as well as projects and industry sectors that can support Malaysian and Western Australian businesses, can support members to achieve their commercial goals in both markets.

AMBC WA supports networking between Malaysian, Australian and Western Australian businesses as well as with other stakeholders including government, universities and researchers. AMBC WA networking includes hosting of functions to promote trade and investment between Malaysia, Australia and Western Australia that can support members to learn of new market opportunities that can lead to strategic alliances between businesses.
