AMBCWA 2023 AGM

Australia Malaysia Business Chamber (Western Australia) on Thursday 5th October 2023 had its 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Pitcher Partners at The Esplanade in Perth.  AMBCWA selected its new Committee for 2023/2024 with a new Committee of eleven people being elected. Bernard Chia was elected President. Keith Anthonisz stepped down as AMBCWA President after five years and will now be Vice President. Anton Nam is the Secretary and Brendan Ho is the Treasurer.

Committee Members are Dr Chris Vas, Leon Mok, Verghese Jacobs, Melville Yeong, David Siaw, and Shane Wee with Datin Emilia Uzir joining the Committee in the role of Ambassador for AMBCWA given her senior business and government links in Malaysia. Datin Emilia Uzir and Brendan Ho joined the meeting via video conference from overseas.  Mr. Ahmad Fikri Zakian Consul General for Malaysia in Perth, will continue as Patron of AMBCWA.
