Bilateral Trade And Investment Roundtable

Australia Malaysia Business Chamber (Western Australia), Consul-General of Malaysia, Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) and Curtin University organised a successful Bilateral Trade and Investment Roundtable on the 16th of July 2019 at Curtin University.

Australia has more than 60 years of a solid bilateral relationship with Malaysia – currently worth $20.5 billion in two-way bilateral trade of goods and services.

This roundtable discussed MIDA’s roles in assisting WA’s businesses to pursue investment strategies and/or seek strategic partnerships in Malaysia.

Our invited speaker, Mr. Shane Volk, Chief Finance Officer of Altech Chemicals and Eva Chye of PwC shared their experience and success story of building business relationship between Malaysia and Australia.
